Presbyterian Villages of Michigan – Ivy Cottage, located in Westland, MI, about 16 miles west of Detroit, offers dedicated memory care for its residents suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Residents are offered memory enhancing care plans such as bathing, grooming, meals and other activities of daily life, customized to each resident’s needs and stage in life.
A warm, cozy, and secure setting for residents with memory-related dementia and Alzheimer’s, Ivy Cottage is fully licensed and has nursing and social work support services. At Ivy Cottage, you’ll find compassionate care in an environment that supports physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, with accommodations for no more than 20 residents.

The 23-acre beautiful campus offers apartments, Licensed Adult Foster Care and memory support with dining services and a wellness center with state of the art fitness equipment.

There is a $25 per day discount for a shared room in Rose Cottage and Ivy Cottage
Respite rate for Assisted Living licensed as Adult Foster Care and Memory Care: $215 per day (seven day minimum stay)
Application fee: $350/per person (non-refundable, due at the time of application)
Move in Fee: $600 one time, nonrefundable fee which covers the cost of returning the apartment back to its original move-in condition upon move out.
*Utilities included are water, heat, electricity, phone and cable. Laundry and Linen services are provided at no additional charge.

Rose and Ivy Cottages both offer private suites with en suite bathrooms. All rooms are fully furnished with a bed, nightstand, dresser, chair and lamp. We welcome you to bring your own furniture in addition to these items or to replace any of the items above.
Prior to move-in, an assessment will be completed by a Village of Westland representative to determine appropriate placement in either Rose or Ivy Cottage.
